Hi, I’m Sarah. Currently living in Toronto, but from the UK.

Exploring Toronto. If you squint, you can just about make out the CN Tower in the background!

You will mainly find stories on here about my experience of following my partner overseas (his job has been recently relocated). You will also find recipes as I absolutely love cooking! I couldn’t decide which I wanted to do a blog about more, so I thought I would go with both food and expats (with a little bit of lifestyle thrown in for good measure).

Ever since I was extremely young I have wanted to be a writer. My biggest regret was forgetting how to do it whilst getting distracted by other things at school and University. Moving away from home felt like a good opportunity to re-start an old hobby.

I hope you enjoy ‘Scribbles from Overseas’ as much as I like writing it.
